PRODUCTION PROCESS

Supplies of roundwood come to us by road and rail.

Each delivery that is accepted, undergoes reception and calibrated 3D measurements, on these basis the dimensions and quality of the delivered roundwood is determined. At the same time, any metal in the roundwood is detected on the input line and such roundwood is put out of the further processing.

Each log that passes the reception is photographed from both sides for possible future quality control by the roundwood supplier. The images are archived for 3 months. This ensures maximum transparency for our suppliers.

The logs, that were accepted, are divided on the sorting line according to their diameters, lengths and qualities into separate boxes, from which they are taken out by LIEBHERR loaders and stored in separate sections in the roundwood warehouse.

Our sawmill processes and will process exclusively coniferous logs, mainly spruce, in the future certainly a part of pine. The technology is designed and ready to receive and cut cutouts in lengths from 3 to 5 m.

Roundwood is stored with bark and its quality is kept by so-called wet storage.
